It is very important that this chakra is nourished so that our daily lives are as fluid as possible and our body is in good health.
Here I present to you the main characteristics of this chakra as well as the associated stones so that you can work on it!

Is your root chakra balanced?
Balance
When this chakra is balanced, you feel deeply grounded. You are satisfied and do not feel material lack. You feel good about yourself and you are connected to your body and your senses! You feel stable in all areas of your life and physically too!
Underactive
You have the feeling of hovering, of not being anchored. You feel anxious and dissatisfied. You feel like you're too ethereal and have your head in the clouds. You may experience foot, knee or bone problems, sciatica, lower digestive tract problems.
Over-Active
You can be stuck in habits. If you don't have them, you feel lost. You can be rigid both mentally and physically. You may have a tendency to accumulate and be materialistic. You feel emotionally vulnerable in the face of unexpected events. You have a lot of control!
The role of the root chakra
The role of the root chakra is to regulate energy related to primary needs, such as eating and shelter. It allows you to healthily develop a feeling of security, far from fears and apprehensions. This is the base chakra, through which the other chakras will take root. For this anchor to be solid, you have to offer it a lot of love.
The root chakra is located at the tailbone, at the base of the spine. It is the symbol of energy, action, strength, vitality and self-confidence.
Balanced, it allows you to be well anchored in your life, in physical shape, in full possession of your means, confident and stable. Unbalanced, it can manifest itself through strong feelings of fear, anxiety, loneliness, insecurity. Through excessive, violent or completely passive behavior.

Root chakra stones
To nourish your root chakra you can use black, brown or red stones.
But be careful if there are several colors of stones in this theme, the 3 will have a very different influence! I'll explain!
The black stones
Black stones are stones of introspection through returning to oneself. They allow you to dive into the heart of yourself and strengthen your personal anchoring by connecting you to your resources. They can be challenging but don't forget that deep roots always come from deep within you!

Black obsidian

Brown stones
Brown stones are the anchoring stones par excellence! If you are hesitant with a color in this chakra, this is the one for you! Like the trunk of the tree with its deep roots, it is your structure, your spine, your base. Use without moderation!

The red stones
Red stones help us materialize! They give us the power to take action and to bring our projects to life by putting them into action. A fiery energy at the service of our incarnation!

How to use your stone
You can obviously wear your stone as jewelry, sleep with it to clear away all the limiting beliefs that weigh on you. Meditate with your stone, especially with the brown and black ones (even more so if you do introspection exercises). Place your stone on your root chakra, at the level of your perineum or at the level of your legs and ankles! You can also do grounding meditations and visualizations.
